Deer Garden Signatures is one of my favourite Hong Kong style cafe restaurants. Their prices are quite reasonable for the quality and quantity that you get. They are famous for their Fish Noodle Soups. This time however, I got their choose your own sauce, rice and protein food item. Below is the review and price for the item that I got at Deer Garden Signatures restaurant.
Deer Garden Signatures Angus Beef Burger Steak with Fried Egg on Wild Mushroom Black Peppercorn Sauce on Rice & HK Style Milk Tea Review (Price: $12.75 plus $1 for Cold Drink)
This was a delicious entree. I choose the protein choice of angus beef burger patty and a pan fried egg. The patty had a good amount of seasoning. The wild mushroom black peppercorn sauce on the rice was very tasty too. There’s also some vegetables like corn kernels and cucumbers.
The dish comes with a complimentary hot drink. It was Summer time so I got a cold drink for an extra $1. I got the HK style cold milk tea.
Overall, a tasty meal at a great price. Many HK style cafes in Greater Vancouver like Copa Cafe and M Cafe charge about $15-16 for a basic entree nowadays. Though, I can foresee the prices at Deer Garden Signatures to go up very soon as they haven’t raised their prices up in a while. Minimum wage went up from $14.60 to $15.20 per hour in June 2021.
